Because christmas is coming and no one (who earns money legally) likes to pay more than necessary for items, I went scavenging for the best products and services offering value for money in Nigeria. Here’s what I found:
1. ₦2,000 hair treatment offer: includes Shampoo, Condition, Scalp massage and hair braiding. This is one for the ladies, and contains no catches I can see. It is being offered by Styles n Smiles Salon, Ajah (Phone: 08035094475). The deal is available to be purchased via Vconnect
2. Hotel room with Wifi and swimming pool for ₦8,500. Offered by Carlton Gate Hotel, Festac in conjunction with Jovago.
3. 6 months free gym membership at Eko Gym & Spa. This is only available by a members only website – Priceless Africa which allows Mastercard holders exclusive deals and offers available in hotels, restaurants and spas all over the world. This offer in particular is available until 30th November 2014 via Priceless Africa.
4. All you can eat buffet at Monty Buffet, Victoria Island for ₦2,490 (Original price: N3,000). This is for a 3-hour all-you-can-eat buffet with African, Chinese and Oriental meals to choose from. The best part? Kids under 3 years go free. According to Dealdey, the coupon is valid until 9th January, 2015 so you can use it any weekday or weekend up until after the christmas period if you are stuck for recreational ideas for the christmas break. (It’s never too early to start planning!)
5. 54% off cinema tickets – ₦700 per person.
If you want to see a movie at less than half the price, just ensure that your day off falls on a Wednesday because Genesis Deluxe Cinema tickets only cost ₦700 as opposed to the ₦1,500 they charge at weekends for the same movies. You will need to book via the Genesis Deluxe Cinema website, which redirects you to Tripican for payment. You can then pay using a Mastercard, Visa, Vervecard, Paga or Quickteller. Please note that the offer doesn’t include 3D movies.
